I shot a music video

Hey there dear readers,

It’s been a hot minute since we last spoke, but I’ve been busy with a few projects; one of which has seen me dust off my expertise and education in video production.

Late last year, Saskatoon band Elephant Seal reached out to me to ask me to provide both marketing and video production assistance for their latest album. After some consultation and discussion, we settled upon the idea that both of those requests should converge as a music video and a video interview.

Early this year (2024), we met in Saskatoon’s Rainy Day Recording Co; where the band recorded a special acoustic version of their song Simulacra live in the studio. I shot them recording the track with a couple different cameras and synced, colour-graded and edited it in post.

What you’ll see below here is that resultant music video:
